BLOCKBUSTER® LIMITED-EDITION BLOCKBUSTER GIFTCARDS CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF AMERICAN MOVIES

DALLAS, June 17, 1998 -- In celebration of the 100th anniversary of movie making, Blockbuster has released the "America's Greatest Movies" limited-edition collector series of Blockbuster GiftCards. Each $10 GiftCard features one of the greatest movies of all time such as "Gone With The Wind" and "The Graduate." There are 10 cards in the series, plus an 11th bonus card featuring "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."

The cards are numbered, increasing their value as collectibles, and available while supplies last at participating Blockbuster stores. The films featured on the "America's Greatest Movies" GiftCard series were chosen from the American Film Institute's (AFI) list of the top 100 movies from the first 100 years of movie making.

Collectors who purchase the 10 cards in the series receive a free framing matt that can be used to display the cards.
