Blockbuster members were given the opportunity to donate money to the cause at checkout, while Blockbuster associates donated money through raffles for Blockbuster paraphernalia, as well as the chance to throw pies at their district managers for $5 a try. Additionally, over 125 Blockbuster associates and their families will participate in the 5K event. "The American Cancer Society is a great organization fighting for a great cause," said Randy McKee, Blockbuster Central Zone vice president. "Our Dallas store associates really came together to give both their money and their time to this effort, and I think weíve had fun doing it."
