Seven Outstanding Awards Presented at Recent Leadership Conference

DALLAS, June 3, 1998 -- Blockbuster Music presented seven of its associates with outstanding 'Make It Happen' awards during its Annual Leadership Conference held last month in Denver.

The theme of the conference was "Make It Happen," inspired by the Gloria Estefan song "Get Up and Make It Happen," and enabled Blockbuster field operations directors to review accomplishments from the past year, discuss plans for the rest of 1998 and recognize outstanding performances. Managers honored with an award at the conference included:
