FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BLOCKBUSTER® MUSIC STORES ISSUE POP QUIZ DALLAS, April 16, 1998 - What was the title of Pearl Jam's first release? What city in Arkansas did Collin Raye sing about on his Extremes album? Which of the following movies' soundtracks does not include a song by Celine Dion? -- "Beauty and The Beast," "Jerry Maguire," "Up Close and Personal" or "Titanic." These are just a few of the questions in Blockbuster Music Stores Trivia Scratch and Win Game that began April 7 and runs through May 11. Approximately 400 participating Blockbuster Music stores will distribute millions of game cards offering a chance to win almost four million prizes including the Grand Prize of a 1999 Mazda Miata convertible. Customers can pick up a gamecard that contains a trivia question and a selection of answers at their neighborhood Blockbuster Music store. Every card entitles the customer to a prize if the correct answer is selected. The customer selects the answer by scratching off the silver covering next to one of the answers on the card. The prize for that gamecard is listed under the scratch-off covering labeled "Prize."

Questions are designed to appeal to all age groups and are taken from every category of music from Master P to Garth Brooks and the Rolling Stones to Celine Dion. Most answers can be found in the Blockbuster Music stores. Game-related in-store displays will be devoted specifically to artists included in trivia questions to assist customers in finding the answers. For example, the answer to the question "Who has produced all three of Patty Loveless' Epic Records albums?" can be found in the store on her CD jackets.
