BLOCKBUSTER®PROMOTES MARK NADOLNY TO
VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE, DISTRIBUTION & MERCHANDISING
DALLAS, February 26, 1998 --Blockbuster, the world leader in video rental, has announced the promotion of Mark Nadolny to vice president, finance, distribution and merchandising. Nadolny joined Blockbuster in 1995 as controller, distribution, Dallas. He will report directly to Lynn Lyall, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and will be responsible for all financial planning and accounting operations at the company's new 800,000 square-foot distribution center in McKinney, Texas, as well as providing financial support for the video giant's domestic merchandising group. Prior to joining Blockbuster, Nadolny was controller Santa Fe Minerals, a division of Santa Fe International Corp. Before that he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. Nadolny is a magna cum laude graduate of Marquette University, a certified public accountant, and a member of AICPA and the Texas State Society of CPAs.
